Part 2

Warwick Janetzki Self-Interview

Picture Yourself in 5 Years from Now

In five years I picture myself having succeeded with Growphasis. I have many clients who have enjoyed the benefits that come with working with me. The Growphasis team has expanded to include specialists in every division. Our team is equally passionate about helping our clients grow. We’re seen as an organization that helps the community. Our volunteer assistance and philanthropic endeavors are significant. In fact, I would hope that we are leaders in the local community and greater region in many ways.

Personally, I will be well settled and have a young prosperous family. My health will be better than it has been throughout my lifetime. Balancing social pleasures and business matters will always be a difficult act but one that has to have give and take on both sides. I picture my family as also having a few animals.

Do You Regret Anything?

I regret a lot of things that happened throughout my twenties. However, I am a vastly different person than who I was then. I have grown and matured from those experiences. I have come out of it a significantly better person. The people who I have in my life from that time have been wonderful pillars of support who are proud of who I am.

What’s the First Thing You Do in the Morning?

This is something that I am in the process of trying to change. Right now, most mornings It’s a race to get onto the computer. I almost completely neglect my health and hygiene. This is something that I have recognized as not being a good thing.

What I would ideally like to do first thing in the morning is to stop and smell the roses. I’d like to get up, go and take a shower, eat something nutritious for breakfast. Maybe take a dip in the wonderful swimming pool that’s in the backyard.  I believe that this would provide clarity of mind so that each day is a fresh start.

Working from home can be a bit wishy-washy. Days can tend to run into the next into the next. Keeping in the same spaces can be a very detrimental thing to your health. I think it’s important to eliminate the negative space. I think by doing what I outlined above is going to be a transformative growth experience.

What Are You Thinking Just Before Going to Bed?

This continues from days running into each other. I tend to think about what I need to be doing after I wake up. The problem here is that it can make me hyper alert. If I feel the weight of the world on my shoulders the next day, I’ll want to stay awake and slog throughout the night. This isn’t a good thing and it’s detrimental to growth.

The sensible part of my brain argues that it’s healthier and better to do your work when your brain is most efficient and capable. The alternative, however, is that you do work for ungodly hours consistently running on low batteries which is highly inefficient and sees a severe drop in the quality of the work being done. As is my personal motto, there’s always room to grow.

What Was the Highest Point You’ve Ever Been Up To?

The highest point, without it being an international flight, that I have ever been to would have to be Sears Tower (Willis Tower) in Chicago. I’m not so great with heights but I admit that the view was exhilarating.

If There’s One Thing in Your Life You Want to Change Right Now, what is it?

My health and fitness simply aren’t as good as what I would like them to be. As always, I’m willing to put in the hard work for them to improve and have been doing better. The hard work will begin paying dividends over the coming months.

What Are You Most Proud Of?

I’m proud of a lot of things in my life. I came back to Australia at the age of 29 without having a tertiary education and now have three degrees and another diploma to my name. That is a great achievement. I’m proud of the friends and loved ones that I am blessed with. However, I’m most proud of having the guts to launch Growphasis properly. It’s a gigantic step in my life and I feel that it is the right time for me to be doing this. I’m not afraid of the hard work that is to come.

Sum Up Your Life in One Sentence

To sum up my life in one sentence is a challenging thing to do. However, I’ll give it a go!

I’m someone who has made plenty of mistakes, learned from them all, but have overcome them all and who offers the world a lot.

Name the Thing that Annoys You the Most

This is another challenging question. There are a lot of things that annoy me. Things such as stupidity, people who have no empathy and those who are only out for themselves. However, the thing that annoys me most of all are those who are unwilling to grow and to become something better than who they are. That flies in the face of everything that I stand for. Nobody is perfect. Nobody cannot better themselves in some way. I’m sorry but that is just incompatible with who and what I am about.

What Is Your No. 1 Question to God?

Sadly, I’m not a religious person. However, if there is an almighty omnipotent being ruling over all of us then I would ask why did you put so many potentially insurmountable challenges in my younger years. Many people who I’ve spoken to about my past question why I’m not a victim of suicide. The answer is that through it all I’ve generally always believed that life was worth living. That if I worked hard enough and endured it all that something would come about that would give me a valuable position on this earth.

Do You Have Secrets?

No, not at all. My ex always told me that she could see through me whenever I attempted to hide anything. Therefore, honesty is always the best policy. Therefore, I don’t hold any secrets in my life.

What Makes You Laugh?

There are a lot of things that make me laugh. These are a few of them.

  • Good times with good people
  • Well written comedy
  • People who try to show off but fail
  • Good Internet memes and videos
  • Witty conversations

There are plenty more.

I hope that these questions and answers have provided some insight into myself personally and where I hope to take Growphasis moving forward.

If you have any questions of me then please feel free to comment or to contact me.
